Dan Hunt

Dan is a Husband and father of two who has devoted his time to advocate for workers right in the State of Michigan. For the past 16 years he has organized and negotiated contracts for thousands of public and private sector employees for MI AFSCME Council 25. He prides himself in educating and empowering people to understand their rights as an employee, and the power they possess when they come together collectively to achieve respect and dignity in the workplace.  

Dan has also been a minister at Perfecting church under the Leadership for Bishop Marvin Winans since 2007. There he has had the opportunity to impact the lives of countless youth in the inner city of Detroit. His ministry has more recently branched out as City of Detroit Police Chaplain where he has had an opportunity to minister to Officers and citizens of the city of Detroit.
